The Catalog has several chapters, each corresponding to a specific topic in the work of the artist: «Inspiration», «Masquerade», «Fantasy», «Illuminated Path», «Portrets».

The first chapter, "Inspiration", is dedicated to women, the way they see themselves in the modern world, and the role they play in it.

Female musicians, actresses, business women, enjoying their free time, or focusing on work and creativity are common, yet, mysterious images of contemporary life. These women keep the world turning. Many works in this series refer to the paintings of Tamara de Lempicka – American artist of Polish origin. They are retaining their femininity which is characterized by their artistic creations and an impression of strong and independent women who are involved in public life leveling and equaling to that of men

Chapter "Masquerade" is a breathtaking journey into the atmosphere of the circus, street performance, theatrical stage and backstage; the atmosphere where actors and artists reveal the innermost corners of their souls showing what hides behind a mask or an acting role. Behind the masks of happiness and joy, the artist sees a unique inner world of his characters. Masks in her works combined with a variety of interior objects assist in revealing the character of the people depicted. In one of her works, Gelena paints a red-haired teenager in a jester hat who appears to be dreaming. The character jogs one’s memory to one the characters from Commedia dell’arte. The artist’s perspective of this boy/girl is that of one with a creative personality similar to hers.

Exposure of the inner world and subtle movements of the soul is typical for the series of portraits which the artist collected in the chapter "Portrets". The series includes portraits of familiar people and friends of the artist. All of them are endowed with attributes that disclose the nature of the people, pointing to their hobbies or professions. A character depicted in a garment of a street artist suggests a timeless verse by W. Shakespeare:

“All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts”.

These connections between seemingly disparate objects rely upon the intuition of the creator. This play of randomness and regularity on the canvas surprises the spectator and the experience relies solely on his personal emotions.
